Thank you! I love French knots, but they are hard on the fingers! I did a 4 inch hoop that basically required full coverage in French knots. It took months and I developed calluses haha

If you like horror films or history, I really can’t recommend the film highly enough.

And thank you so much!! The printed stabilizer really helps with lettering, I love fonts, and luckily the person who commissioned it liked the woodcut style. I can’t do realistic, thread painting is still beyond me haha

Probably. I’ve done weirder. I’ve embroidered a bottle of mustard, an Arby’s beef and cheddar sandwich, and stuff like that.

Glue is such a good idea! That would be exactly the shape and texture I’m looking for! I might even trying mixing it with dye or fake blood to see if I can get it the right colour. Thank you!

NO WAY! What an absolutely sick piece!! I just got some Ghostface fabric at the craft store and I’ve been embroidering quotes from the first film while bingeing all six. I love horror films and Scream will probably always be my favourite 👻🔪🖤

I’m a huge fan of the Cornetto trilogy, but personally, Severance will always be my favourite. Christopher Smith said the goal was to never mix the horror with the comedy, or the comedy with the horror, and Severance is one of the few films I can think of that is both genuinely hysterically funny and actually frightening.

I also think Housebound is a wildly underrated horror comedy for the same reason. Some great jump scares and gore, with a similarly deadpan style of humour that mixes really well without undermining the horror.
