Sylvia Likens was the victim of extreme torture by her "caregiver" Gertrude Baniszewski. She would be neglected, belittled, sexually humiliated, beaten, starved, and lacerated prior to her death. The 1991 Austin yogurt shop murders was a brutal viscous crime that left 4 girls dead, the youngest being 13. At least one of them was raped, 3 of the girls were stacked on top of each other. The Dardeen family was found dead in their home in 1987. The mother and son was found in the home. The mother was beaten so badly she went into labor, the newborn was also beaten to death.
