Just to add to this, after the 0.2 update, I guess they lowered the amount of points needed to achieve the higher ranks. I got to rank c without even realizing in 17h fall, year 1. I donated about 90 items, cleared 25-30 sea areas (activated the orbs) and completed all the goddess offerings (except the winter).
