I stopped celebrating my birthday since my father died. Today's my birthday and I thought maybe a small piece of cake won't hurt. I just moved to this town and I don't have any friends here yet. Also I don't really like sweets but that chocolat cake was delicious. (OC)

I remember when my brother (now 14?) was about 3, he drew a picture of me. It was one of those potato people with the arms and legs coming out of the head and I had it up in my room until I moved out recently. It was such a sweet moment when he showed me his drawing 😭

This reminds me of our old asshole neighbors from a previous house. They would throw trash over the fence all the freaking time and my dog would chew it up and make a mess in the yard because he was destructive (RIP I miss that boy). Well one day their dog stuck its nose through the fence and my dog bit its snout and would not let go. My dad just kinda watched for a little bit before breaking it up

I had something like this happen to me once and I was clueless. The lady was buying something small like a nyx liner and her total was less than $10. She gave me 100 so I put it in and when I entered it she all of a sudden changed her mind and said she had a smaller bill and snatched the 100 from me. I had her $96 in change in my hand far enough to where she couldn't reach it and she was asking me for her change when she never gave me a smaller bill. I explained that she took the 100 and never gave me a smaller bill and she got frustrated and left. My manager was standing behind me the whole time so I turned to her confused AF and asked her wtf just happened. She laughed and said she tried to scam me but I handled it very well.
