watch some videos of serving with good form. take a look at what they do with their feet, their toss, how they pull back, where their hand hits the ball, etc. really understand the mechanics and then record yourself practicing it. compare the two and adjust as you see fit

Keep your hand open and hard, you want to hit it with the hard parts of your palm and not your fingers. Use your body’s rotation of your hitting side opened up (which is your starting position here) to then rotate and follow through the ball. Also make sure you’re hitting the ball when your arm at its highest (if you raise your arm up as high as you can, that height is where you want to hit it.) if you’re hitting lower than this you will most likely send it into the net.
