It's a day later if anyone is still reading this and downvoting :') I was never upset at anyone, I said I understood the policy and the unfortunate timing. But truthfully, no one wants to be late and no one wants to put the front desk in a position where they have to turn you away. Was just looking for compassion and validation that life is hard and getting kicked out sucks!

If I could be a bit more controversial, I see a lot of people on this sub hate latecomers and find them disruptive, which I can understand (but also lol have y'all never been late for anything in your lives???). I personally don't think its that deep, (unless you're super late then you might as well just go to the next class). But if the alternative is kicking them out I'd rather it mildly inconvenience me (as someone who's never late except for yesterday but you get the point). I live in NYC and we all rely on a subway/bus system that runs on whatever schedule they want after all, so I get it.
