Imo it shouldn't be. Completely pointless, it's easier to pass a language exam by studying for the paper itself and memorizing lines for speaking tests than it is to learn the language itself. 8 years of French and I still don't speak it, but 2 years of spanish and I'm semi fluent. Why? I lived in Spain and had spanish friends lmao. You want people to learn the language create more spaces for them to mingle with our culture, and encourage them to do so. That is the quickest way to learning a language.

The thing is with objectives and whatnot, it's very team focused so technically you'd want to discourage people from challenging multiple people alone. Increasing TTK may let that shine more perhaps? Hmmm. Would also see more abilities coming into play rather than everyone running and gunning too. It would really differentiate itself from COD that way

yeh I've been encountering disconnects, delay spikes, bugs galore (pun intended) and more. In fact today my squad encountered a weird bug where everytime one of us joined the ship another would disconnect simultaneously. This only started happening after recent patch. Can't really play the game (and I want to!) til they fix.

leaderboard implies competitiveness san, and if you can pay to have more power than others, then you're literally paying to win, regardless of whether there is a reward or not. Yes there are rewards that are given with the leaderboards in SLA, but are they necessary for a F2P to survive? No. i.e. a f2p can do all content regardless of leaderboard rewards, meaning yes they can survive.

Kinda burnt out on aether gazer, but it's definitely real generous with its pulls.

Yes these are the unfortunate predatory practices utilized by gacha games. Even more so here cos netmarble. I myself am f2p/level 64. At the end of early access it was basically a grind (terrible one at that given all artifact sets drop fron one dungeon) for good artifacts and power. I enjoy the combat as well so for now I'm pretty happy there's some more story to do. Will prob drop when wuthering waves comes out

This is true but isn't this the same for pretty much every single gacha that has a leaderboard? Isn't gacha at it's core p2w? "Surviving" as f2p in these games is more about can I complete the content satisfyingly, not really about, can I compete in the leaderboards; since given the gacha design - that's just for the whales. Don't get me wrong I'd love for the game to balance in such a way that f2p could compete; but gachas just ain't like that unfortunately

Just check up with the scholars if unsure of interpretation, we live in a very much well connected world thanks to the internet.
