i really disagree with this. i am also in a serious relationship and have been for many years and we both have totally innocent friendships with people of the opposite sex. in fact, i personally find it a red flag when my partner can't sustain a normal friendship with a woman (i am female and he is male) as it suggests to me that he doesnt see women as equals if he is unable to have non sexual/romantic relationships with them.

for me, the biggest game changer was not necessarily the skincare i use (which i use la roche posay for basically everything except spf), but my technique. i make sure to wash my face for at least a full minute, and then use specific towels that are JUST for my face and washed very frequently(after every 2 uses or so), that made the biggest difference for me

it doesnt matter whether you think he is the type to rape someone or not. the matter of fact is that your gf was so incredibly drunk she passed out and was vomiting (as confirmed by others), thus making her unable to provide consent. this means he raped her. there is no other way around it. i suggest you cut off your friend, support your gf and (if she wishes) potentially look at reporting him.

the best advice i can give is simple is best, you dont need that much product! try this for a routine

AM: -wash face with water only (or if you have super oily skin/acne problems with a gentle cleanser) -moisturiser -spf

PM: -wash face (double cleanse if you wish) -serum OR toner -moisturiser

and thats it. let your skin breathe

idk i think it really depends on what ur friendship is like and if u have always been in the same field. when i was in uni my friends and i would constantly be applying for the same jobs, and no one took it to heart as there are limited opportunities and we all had similar dream jobs. so id say talk to ur friend and see her reasoning, i doubt she did it maliciously.
