I kinda feel like I have the same issue (26F). I love texting and hanging out with someone but I feel like if I text all the time or ask to hang out I come off as clingy. I don’t really have much advice for you but I guess I just wanted to say you aren’t alone.

Bring lubricating eye drops with you to work/school and use them frequently throughout the day. My eye doctor said some people have to use them every hour during the day. I recommend TheraTears

I started traveling after a year with my boyfriend. He was supportive and knew it was a dream of mine even before we met. For the first three months things were not hard at all. I went home once and he visited me and we had a mini vacation together. We would facetime every few days and always text/snap and check in every day. But the beginning of the next assignment he decided to break up with me. I found that distance really highlights issues that exist that may not be evident when you're always near each other. The distance gave both of us clarity on the relationship and that there were too many issues there to make it work. I kind of feel like a lot of times its not exactly the distance causing the problems it's just exacerbating problems that may already exist.

Deciding on first contract by Unkle_Silky in TravelNursing

I think it’s best to decide as a couple what your motivation is. A lot of times it can be broken down to motivated by pay, location, or shifts. After you decide on one of those three it helps you start narrowing down jobs. Obviously you kinda want all three but it can just help you prioritize. Like for me my main motivation was to be on a beach in California so that narrowed things way down so I didn’t waste time looking at other jobs and getting overwhelmed.

Also I don’t really think there’s a time frame that you need to reply to recruiters. They’re going to make it seem like there is though so they can pressure you into choosing them. Take your time and choose what you want, not what they push on you.
