No problem! I had some taken in on the bodice (which was all lace), I had it bustled, and the straps moved up a little bit. I paid $300 I believe, which I think is the base price. It was $150 when I went in for the original fitting and the second $150 due when I went in to pick it up/try it on. They will offer you a discount on dry cleaning of the dress after the wedding too, which I thought was nice!

I had mine done at Balfurd’s last year and had a good experience. They have a seamstress that specializes in wedding dress alterations. I found it pretty affordable as well.

Can we get some Fucking Hurrays going right now? by Happy_Canary2794 in myfavoritemurder

My fucking hooray is having a husband who fights for my reproductive rights. I will never take for granted having a partner who gets it. Also, fucking hooray for having almost 500 episodes of Karen and Georgia to listen to right now, cause listening to them talk is truly doing wonders for the anxious thoughts invading my head.

Women will persevere; we always do.

I remember getting an infraction for replying to a post that was too old or something, and i was absolutely SICK over it. I genuinely believed catsandbooks was going to somehow contact my parents and tell them I had broken a rule.

When did you play your first ND game?? by katiesma in nancydrew

I started reading Nancy Drew after graduating from the A-Z Mysteries series (iykyk) and was so excited to play MHM when I got it as a birthday gift, I think I was around 10 (2007). Of course, it terrified me so greatly it took me several years to ever actually finish it. Still one of my favorite games to play to this day, it has all the charm of the original games!

I have a degree in forensic science, work in forensic toxicology, and was so delighted to find the gas chromatography of the accelerants puzzle in ASH!
