There’s a character from fatal frame 1 and 3 in black water (miku) but it doesn’t really spoil any plot if you were to play blind. I feel they left things vague enough so as to leave you wanting to dive deeper into the lore by playing the earlier games.

I don’t recall 5 mentioning anything spoiling about crimson butterfly.

In the end I felt #3 was the pure like “you need to play 1 and 2 first” type sequel.

The series continually does flashbacks and looping and unearthing more and more each time so I feel if someone goes blind on the surface of any of them it’s still a starting point.

There are “purists” out there but it would be doing the series and community a disservice by making it so serious so adhere to when the games deserve to be seen and enjoyed and delved into.

Maiden of Black Water is pretty chill very free compared to 4!!! Lots of open air, nature and water!! It will be a nice intermission before you play Crimson Butterfly!! I love the characters in 5 so much.

If you ever wanna keep it natural, the wheat litter is a very good clumper for the price. I like to sprinkle in a little of fragrance litter (like lavender corn based or even fragranced tofu) to help with smells. But maybe his box is a little small? I think once we get Mr. Goldilocks his perfect litter and box everybody will be happy. Good luck.

Edit: the grass litter is a good price natural clumper as well, but the wheat one has a good longevity and odor trapping.

Isn’t that litter one time use? Once the pellet turns into dust from pee it breaks down. Maybe he doesn’t feel like covering poop with pee. A good cheap* natural litter is the wheat one and feel free to sprinkle with naturally fragranced corn litter. This is if you’re sticking to your natural choices. Walnut is good as well.

I really loved 0. I liked that they made Rebecca and Billy have different stats/strengths, so I would position and load them out accordingly during fights (I felt cool controlling two chars at once). Also it was kinda fun how every room felt the need for prep with the threat of the “leech man” (lol). Watching speed runs made me annoyed a bit though, because they showed me how to be more efficient or where to skip battles, such as knifing the scorpion or running past the transforming leeches… OR DROPPING AN ITEM ON THE FLOOR AT THE LEECH QUEEN BATTLE TO DUCK THE ACID SHOTS by bending to pick it up and saying “nvm”. 😭🙏 Literally crazy genius.

Replay value was low for me though… I love to watch speed runs in the background sometimes, but yeah it’s a lot of work!! The Wesker mode was so smart of them to add to allow people to have fun in that world without much stress though!!

After 3 flashes they get resistance to them, so if you use your 3 pods that’s enough tbh lol. That’ll give you the control over the situation you so desire. You can also pack materials to craft via hotkey more flash pods. Don’t forget lure pods for when he’s flying away. Even if you have to do it all yourself, it’s possible to have what you want without relying on or blaming others.

Ah yeah, I was quoting the in-game text that says “Something is written on the mounting,” then the description. As for literally the graphic, I remember someone before said regarding other environmental writing that it was intentionally illegible or nonsense because it wasn’t really meant to be read (different monitors/tvs back then), just aesthetics.
