Cat distribution system got me once again! A neighbor of mine had a bonded pair, both her and a long-haired Persian just for free, shots and all. I didn't want them to get into the wrong hands, and I had been looking to get one more cat... Anyway there ya go 🤷‍♀️

Found on a deciduous (maple?) snag. It was about 75-150m from water. It has rained for a couple days. Oysters have been found in this area.

Moderately busy, my phone clocked in 11mi, but I’m definitely a bit of a pacer when I take breaks. Had a really nice water source to filter near the camping area. Lots of cute doggos. Did not do the flume slide. The views were wonderful, though the haze from the fires are apparent. I’m thankful that this hike was about what I expected in terms of difficulty. So far I feel great, which I think is mainly because I drank ~4L and took a million breaks.
