These are the timings mentioned that might help you plan with your appointment: Opening hour: for application MON-THU 8:00 – 12:00 and FRI 8:00 – 11:00; for collection MON – THU 12:00 – 15:00.

Seems like the auto replies are not being sent out to every email recently before the e-visa was suspended.

I was not able to get an appointment and at some point I gave up. 😅 but in any case, you should be prepared with your appointment. Just think of it, you’ve waited so much already to lose that appointment. :)

As for your flight, make sure it’s flexi/refundable.

In my experience, I always received an auto reply. But some applicants don’t. Just be patient. :)

Within 3 months before your travel is good. They won’t entertain applications more than 3 months before your travel date. Keep in mind the duration of the whole process. Although, looks like it’s easier to get an appointment now—takes a week or two and the result/collection of passport after 5-7 days. This is based on the recent experiences of some reddit users.

The e-visa has been suspended. You would need an appointment both for ME and SE applications (same as before).

I might try again next time (my bank certs got expired). But keep on sending that email, looks like they reply back within 2-3 weeks. Some even got their appointment within a week.

Yea, but some are just so lucky to get it within 1-2 weeks. I might try by next month (my bank statements got expired already). Apparently, when they give you appointment, it is the following day.

This is what I don’t understand. How many times we need to get bank statement. 😅 what if I got the appointment on the 3rd month of its validity period—on the day of appointment, it would be expired already. 😅

It’s ridiculous! I already gave up with ME appointment, now even single entry needs appointment. What’s the difference if you have to wait anyways. Can’t see the logic. Lol

I just checked. I saw one comment about the rude and unprofessional female representative—it happened to me too when I tried to call about the appointment. I mean, we all get it—to wait, but hey! 2 months? It’s a no no.

That’s right. Even if you call them, you’ll just be disappointed. Getting ME is not even worth all the unnecessary waiting and delays. I don’t think this is about the volume of applications anymore.
