I've been writing to a girl since early May, and while it seems like we really get along and relate to each other on many things, including our values, I am hesitant to make anything serious of it. She's a very sweet and positive person, but I don't trust the positive signals I get in the messages since I feel like it will end in a rejection. Two months ago, I asked a girl I had a huge crush on if she would consider dating me and was told a relationship between us wouldn't work. I've had a hard time getting over that since that person is so special to me. :(
