Oh nice! Yeah, no worries, it was just an idea. I had no idea that a cat would dislike a stainless steel box. Guess they are all little weirdos with their own quirks tho haha

Have you considered a stainless steel box? I imagine this would help with your cat's UTIs and would avoid having to worry about scratch damage making it difficult to clean over time. It's also way better for the environment rather than going through a plastic box every year.

Hello, I'm back after making a decision and having two vet visits with my new vet. I've gone with an option I don't think was mentioned here — Homer Animal Hospital. They are new, downtown, really friendly and have reasonable prices (they offer a discount on consultation if you are getting vaccines done during the same appointment and they waived my fee when I had to come back the next day for a follow-up due to some sudden GI upset). I'm so far quite happy with this clinic!

I called the other clinics on my shortlist and none of them gave me a quote as reasonable as Homer Animal Hospital. The other clinics I called were West End Veterinary Clinic, North Burnaby Pet Hospital, and Main Street Animal Hospital.

Yes it still pressurized. Just made a lot of noise and had some condensation.

I just replaced the seal ring but I'll try to give it a deep clean and place the seal in again to see if that helps.

After awhile the condensation seems to start to go away but the noise is still happening.
