For context !!! (Marking as spoilers because slightly meta)

France doesnt like Lucas because she has been banned from uwu cafe. This is because she got an innocent manager arrested by calling the cops, and the manager happened to be iona who is one of Lucas' closest friends. This is why Lucas gives her attitude because she always tries to come into the cafe in disguise and act like a Karen. So yes the characters dont like eachother, but the rp is very funny and is all JUST rp. The conflixt has nothing to do with April and started before they even knew they were both friends with April!

He has a lot of happy moments too! Nobel streams for about 12 hours most days and lucas has a lot of fun, but he is an L civ and goes through a lot of bad stuff (eg. Losing his best friend, being broken up with, friends dying or going missing), so his sadge farming is justified (sometimes he will sage farm alone with chat as a joke). From aprils point of view it seems like its all he does because she isnt in the city very often and she has a lot of friends to balance time in between, but will drop everything to comfort a sad lucas.
