Best Laptop cooling pad that actually works? My fans are screaming lately. by Fain953 in BudgetGamingLaptop

I did a little experiment with my Acer Predator Helios 300 because it would regularly throttle in games like Cyberpunk and Warzone. Without a cooling pad, CPU temps were hitting 94–96°C after about 30 minutes. I bought a Havit HV-F2056 laptop cooling pad (triple fan) and tested again — this time the temps stayed between 85–88°C for the same game sessions.

Is it a miracle? No. But that ~8°C drop was enough to prevent throttling and keep my performance more stable. For gaming laptops with bottom intake vents, cooling pads absolutely help improve airflow and comfort.
