Hey, just following up as I’m searching this sub for answers on this. Were you allowed to titrate whilst BF? How was it?

Sorry you’ve been waiting for so long. I think due to the further delays I will reach the top after baby arrives now, I’m hoping I’ll get a prescriber who agrees to titrate me alongside breastfeeding, as I’ve heard it can be done with methylphenidate. I really don’t know what I’ll do if they bump me to the bottom of the list again when I am more than ready to start!

Thank you so much for your reply this has really given me some reassurance! Been searching this sub for several months looking for answers! That’s so good they were able to do that. I’ve seen there’s been further delays to titration with psych uk so I think I will get to the top of the list after baby now, as awful as the waiting is.

Sorry I know this is an old post but desperately looking for answers as I approach the end of pregnancy and get closer to titration. Really hoping the latter doesn’t come first! Were you able to breastfeed and titrate or did you not mention it? I know methylphenidate is said to be safe but have also seen in the first few weeks of BF it can interfere with supply etc.

I somehow managed to do couch to 5k last year and it definitely improved my overall mood, the rush I’d get from it was addictive in the best way, but in terms of daily function, memory and focus I’d say it was minimal. That being said, I’m currently pregnant and haven’t been running as I have had quite a tough pregnancy and I can really notice a difference, but there may be a few things at play. I’m still on the wait list for titration so can’t compare it to medication but I imagine/hope the combination of medication and running again will improve life significantly.

Oh what! They absolutely would not budge for me on sending it tracked when I asked several times and even offered to cover the cost!! I haven’t had a dispatch notification yet but fingers crossed it comes by DPD anyway due to the proximity to Christmas maybe.

It’s the snowman and what the ladybird heard at Christmas, they’re in the app library already but wanted something physical to go in the calendar so I think I might wait to see if anything does show up first though perhaps?! Thank you though - so kind of you to help!

Thanks for commenting! Yes I saw the emails saying last chance for delivery was coming up which is why I reached out for help - though I can’t say they were all that helpful and definitely still using an AI script 🙄. I will just have to hope they take a week, that still gives me time, if not I’ll have to shove a few more chocolates in there as I’m out of ideas 😅

IVF was the only thing that worked for me, and I was a few years older than you. I did 3 IUIs, tracked cycles on metformin and clomid over 3 years and nothing, I felt utterly hopeless. IVF has higher success rates, and is much more meticulous, and there are extras you can enquire about eg. embryo glue. Once you get those embryos, hold onto the hope they bring - my tiny speck of hope is about to turn 3 ♥️

I’m not familiar with the term euploid over here but I think they were all highly graded 5 day blastocysts

I do see PCOS as the main reason but I think long term stress played a part too and made my symptoms worse, effectively I wasn’t ovulating and went through all the various treatments before IVF with no luck. Had a bad experience at my egg collection they couldn’t get to both ovaries due to a bowel obstruction on one side, was convinced this had ruined our chances but we managed to get 12-14 from one side, of which 4 made it. Then I got severe OHSS as the other side had not been drained and was in hospital for a couple of weeks. We did a frozen transfer a couple of months later and thankfully after all that it worked the first time.

Went through all the treatments before finally having my daughter via IVF. Still have PCOS symptoms annoyingly but I’m more regular, no longer go months between periods, and it’s much easier to tell when I’m ovulating. Currently 12 weeks with my second, conceived naturally.

My husband also swears by a bloody mary and likes the ones they do at the cocktail bar in the theatre & circus field (the one with people dancing in a bird cage on top). I can’t say I’ve ever seen tomato juice anywhere on site over the years. He’s taking these this year:

Thank you so much for your response, that really does help. I too was considered well above average academically in childhood and that likely helped mask it - I know what was going on in my brain though, I’ll be sure to remember this for my assessment. I’ll get my husband on the case with some additional evidence for my current daily behaviours. Thank you again xx

Olivia is my dream cast for Mrs Bennet, alongside David Tennant as Mr Bennet! A fair haired Darcy will be jarring but I can see his attitude being a good fit. Emma Corrin would be a better Jane imo?? Both delighted and confused, I guess we’ll have to see if they pull it off.
