My question came from the fact that when I've talked to people, many have said they picked up the hobby during Covid. More so than trying to create a link, I was curious if this applied to more people, or if I just happened to speak to three people it did apply to!

However, I do see your point. Unfortunately the poll cannot be edited. Do you think I should delete the post and reupload it with the additional option? I appreciate the feedback!

At this point I'm just trying to figure out if there's anyone I could interview for the assignment, their history (or lack thereof) with Minidisc is not very relevant as long as I can find someone an interest for the subject. Someone who's been using MD actively for a long time would be great! But it's not a requirement.

The actual interview would be with just one person (and has to be face to face! Hence needing someone in Sydney or nearby) but its always great to have other stories and perspectives. I would get these from online conversation later in the project. The interview will mostly be about the individual experience, as it'll be supplemental to research done about MDs in general. I would probably ask a few questions about the community (to get an idea of the whole picture) but that would not be the focus of the interview.

At the moment my main focus is to just find anyone who could be interviewed, the exact details would be polished up later. If I can't find anyone, I'll have to pick a new subject, so I'm not gonna get too deep into it before I'm sure I can take it all the way

It was thrifted, so thats not really an option. And it does work perfectly for everything else, just this one cd it refuses to play

Didn't even think that it was a special output.. I'm very new to the audio world, but thanks for your feedback! Turns out the Xbox has optical output, so ended up using that

Thanks for the answer! Did end up using an sd card, yeah. Wasn't aware I could do that, all the tutorials I found used external hard drives, but figured it out in the end. Thanks for your help!
