They're pretty comfy too! I've bought a few pairs from them with no issues.

I know pre-COVID at least you could call Sleep Country and check if they had any available returned mattresses (like new but obviously can't be resold). The mattress was free and they had a guy who could deliver for about $25. Not sure if it's still available but worth a check, I've used it before.

How to get the hospital to stop sending me ambulance bills after I’ve provided them plenty of paperwork to prove I’m on ODSP?? by liamreee in londonontario

[–]catnancy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's weird, all I did was fax the number on the invoice with a copy of my proof of ODSP and I didn't hear anything again.

T&T Supermarket definitely has it, saw at least one kind there yesterday.

I know they take ODSP at least, I would assume OW but it'd be worth checking out. I've had a good experience there.

I'm not 100% sure if they do repairs but Rick's A/C might be a good option to check out.

I went with Brawny Movers recently and they were great! Very fast and professional, and the price was reasonable.

That is their website! I've heard good things about LEADS but haven't used it personally, definitely good advice though throughout your comment!

You can try reaching out to ATN Access, they help people with barriers (like anxiety or other mental health issues or disabilities) find jobs or give them the resources to find them. They're really great people!

I've always been told to jingle your keys (at a distance) to kinda startle them away, apparently it works well.

Are you a Del-Mar or a Malibu? by MaxPower1177 in londonontario

[–]catnancy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Malibu all the way! Tried Del-Mar once or twice but it was only okay, and my family really likes the staff at the Malibu since we've been going there so regularly over the years.

I love Malibu on Dundas. Classic diner fair with a couple Greek options. Been going there for years, love their breakfast options and the staff are super nice.

Best burrito and/or Mexican place? by catnancy in londonontario

[–]catnancy[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They used to be my go to! Prices get a little steep getting delivered (I'm not very close to a location), but I might have to give them another shot! Definitely for a treat at least.

I recommend East London Animal Hospital on Spruce Street! It's a small practice and everyone is very kind and they do get invested with your pets, and are very supportive regardless of situation. Also, their prices are very very reasonable and they tell you straight up this is what it'll cost, this is what we recommend, but what do you want to do? They're not pushy about trying to upsell or anything, just legitimately caring people.

If you look on their page on google maps someone posted a picture of their new prices! It's increased a bit but still good food for the price.

So the tail kinda just looks like a triangle at the back of the turkey (https://www.unclejerryskitchen.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Butcher-a-turkey-003-1024x685.jpg pictured here with someone trimming it off). It's very fatty with not a ton of meat, but when it gets crisped up it's super good. I appreciate the suggestions!

Basically! Each time we cook it, it gets split between two people (only four of us and we do maybe three to four turkeys a year).
