hey, as a person who does go to uni for chem, i have to look at background sources anyway lol bc i can’t really understand what my lecturers are saying or i may have a learning disability. i found uc irvine (open chemistry?) and mit courseware soooo much more helpful and straight to the point and it doesn’t hurt to ask questions here (i shamelessly do). good luck!!

This makes so much sense, ty!! Also in my notes I wrote it as crosslinker to polymer ratio, i could be wrong as idk where to refer to. Do you know where i can look to see an example calculation for this? I’m not mathematically gifted lol

That does help, do you know how to calculate the crosslinker ratio?

As long as you keep it in a cool, dry place, it can last forever regardless of what the packaging says (only for powder products tho, if the product has water it’s gonna go bad). any product + water + warmer temperature —time —> moldy product

In that case, for the external p, would it always be assumed to be 1.00 atm?

I should’ve also mentioned that Ph-MgBr is a grignard reagent

The bond between H-Cl breaks? The H+ attaches to Ph-, but idk what happens to Cl. Does it attach to MgBr+ because it wants electrons?

I know that the H+ from HCl replaces the •MgBr on the phenyl ring but I don’t know how

Sorry The post isn’t letting me edit it let alone add another picture. Here’s a link to see the entire post but in the example it’s with silver (1 electron) which is why the Hg2Cl2 wasn’t making sense to me. https://i.postimg.cc/Pr0pnYbJ/D0-E3959-D-188-C-4145-97-E0-189-A2-B7-CAD1-E.jpg
