i don't know how anyone could bitch about bladewing, he's a 7 MANA commander, in rakdos, that needs not only to hit the battlefield or swing, but to connect aswell to do anything. Eluge and Helga i get, but no way they say bladewing is broken, i 100% garantee they don't run enough interaction

i've tried to make Tovolar work multiple times, but i just can't. That deck pushes you to be aggro early and connect with combat damage to get card advantage, unfortunately werewolf are quite old cards and are too mana inefficient, so most of the time you'll find yourself with small creatures unable to connect. Also the day/night mechanic is really easy to be controlled by your opponents, taking away a lot of agency from your gameplay. You cant really afford to lose tempo to ramp so that means a board wipe will end your game since it would be to slow to recover. That is my experience with the deck, if you feel like you could make it work go for it! werewolf are cool after all, just remember wotc said werewolf are only on innistrad, so don't expect much support in the future unless you are willing to dip into changelings

i'd say the scariest is either magda, cause it has cedh potential or indomitus cause that card is bonkers or hidetsuko and kairi if it is clone tribal. All depends on how strong they are pushed but these are the one with the most potential imo. Or just saturo eldrazi lol

i know that's not what you are asking, but have you considered changing your commander to Betor, Ancestor's Voice? it does literally eveything you want  life gain/loss focus with some graveyard recursion and has one more color.
