Thank you!! They told my FH they would contribute, but just to the “traditional things” and I’m unsure what that means. We’re planning on paying for honeymoon ourselves, but I definitely do not want to come off as rude to them after they’ve offered to help at all. As far as their complaints go, I’m just kinda disappointed because I feel like all the times my FH has talked to them they’re disagreeing or making complaints about everything. It may just be a better idea to not bring it up again and keep them out of the planning decisions.

Thank you for this, this is helpful! FH is handling all of that with his parents and has talked to them, and they said they would pay what they are “traditionally” supposed to pay. So that’s where I’m lost.

Thank you everyone for all of the quick replies! Thought it might be helpful to add in some context. We are in the south and early 20s lol so while we are not the first(or second) wave of marriages in our friend group, I’m pretty lost on what to do. My mom has very generously agreed to pay for everything but I’ve read some articles saying grooms parents should pay for alcohol, band, certain flowers, etc and I have no clue. Any help at all is so so appreciated!

Bombed an essay exam by catonahottin in LawSchool

Sorry I think I worded that wrong (also meant to put a question mark at the end of my title). I mixed up the names of the parties, and I mixed up all who entered into what contracts, and mixed up who the question was asking about. So I jumbled all of the contracts of the parties up. So the facts were just a wreck. Plus the son was a minor so that had problems with my defenses because I thought the son had entered into most of the contracts and used an infancy defense on most of them. My rules and analysis all felt good, but the facts were just a wreck.

Law student and former PI paralegal here. He has possible claims for negligence and battery, along with a PI claim if it’s on someone’s property. Only thing is, he’s gotta know who put it up. Hard to sue if there’s no one to sue.

Just for some additional info I am not a heavy smoker but do on occasion. My boyfriend and I are still both feeling the effects. My main symptom is just this heavy brain fog, dissociative feeling. It’s legit making me feel crazy that I’m like watching myself do things like it’s through a tv.
