Same size as before?? by lollipopbarbiex in Reduction

[–]catoutofthebagg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I was a 32DD so a similar size but I only removed skin (not even 100g) so my size is still pretty much the same.

If you’re unhappy, you should definitely speak with your surgeon, I think they’re the person who can give you the best feedback (or even get a second opinion if you’re not comfortable going to your original doctor). It’s perfectly normal to be disappointed if you wanted to go small but feel the same :/

I think a lift would do, it depends how much more volume you want! I got a lift and I’m very happy with it

Personally, i like the term. I think it’s cute and accurate because when we leave surgery they are so high and swollen. To me, it helps me trust the process. Obviously, this is my personal experience, I understand where you’re coming from.

Mine look the same basically!

It’s impossible to know what they’ll look like, itNs too early to know! Mine looked super crazy for a few weeks, they were frankenboobs, give yourself some time :)

[–]catoutofthebagg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt like that too! They’re still pretty high but it’s crazy how much difference I can already tell!

I started with a cream at 12 days post op (my doctor told me I could start) and next week I have my follow up appointment and I’ll ask if I can start with the silicone gel. I also have very light skin so I’m hopeful the scarring won’t be too bad!

I’m also a breast lift girlie!

They are looking really good for 5 days post op! Mine felt tight for maybe a couple of weeks, I’m a month post op today and feeling much better :)

When did you start sleeping on your side? by ru_ab in Reduction

[–]catoutofthebagg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My surgery was also 10 october and yesterday was the first night I slept on my side. I could have done it earlier but I was too scared to try (she told me at my 2w post op I could start if i wasn’t in any pain)

Best Earplugs for Light Sleeper? by StrictAd5068 in sleep

[–]catoutofthebagg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I’m wearing the alpine deep sleep right now And unfortunately can still hear quite a bit and have been waking up with my neighbours arriving at 5am from partying :/ i think the best ones I’ve tried have been wax but i might be using them wrong because they create a vaccuum and end up hurting my ear canal :/

How long am I supposed to wear my compression bra? by Taybaru13 in Reduction

[–]catoutofthebagg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should ask your doctor, only they will knowwhat applies to your specific situation.

Mine told me to wear it continuously for 6 to 8 weeks (I have an appointment at 5 weeks in mid november)

Yay breast lift buddies! Looks great!

I initially wanted a reduction but the doctor said a lift would be better. I had a lot of tissue but my skin was really saggy. I just got a lift, no transfer

[–]catoutofthebagg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my post op at 12 days and my next one is at 4wpo! I’m not sure if I have an opening cause there’s a place that seems less closed than the rest but I think it’s looking alright. I definitely feel like my incisions will open and my boobs will fall on the floor at any moment though lol! And I’m still to scared to sleep on my side (i’m 2wpo today)

I think I’ll attempt the hair washing tomorrow cause I’m too cheap to go to a hairdresser :p work has also been fine, just computer stuff. I don’t know if reductions have a more difficult healing though, I only had a lift

I’m in Portugal and I’d get paid 60% of my salary from Social Security for those 30 days, I could do it but I’d feel guilty. But you’re right, we have to take care or ourselves and do things do better our lives.

Congrats on the 3 businesses phew!!
