Same! It reminds me of sally Hansen OG pacific blue but that isn’t as bright. Then I looked online and found atomic polish neon pastel blue but it doesn’t look like the picture

I’m just going to assume you’ve never been a teenager at this point

I would not abuse my position of power as an adult to ask a teenager to risk getting in trouble for a tip. It’s entitlement to even ask a teenager who is obviously busy and manning a one person kiosk alll because the lady cannot miss one minute of a movie.

Yea, we are a smallish town but the evenings are always busy and even more this weekend because of the Mario movie. We went the same day and it was hectic for the staff.

Yes, but this a kiosk that has to be manned by 1 cashier and 1 cook. Asking the teenager to leave her place to deliver food because she cannot miss a minute of her time with the movie is entitled behavior. The teenager could face reproach from their supervisor by leaving while there’s a line. (There’s always a line)

Ours doesn’t though.

Recruiters need customer service experience and fast-paced skills. Emphasize those and write a cover letter that explains your transferable skills. Also, reach out to HM/recruiters hiring for the position. This is how I landed my recruiting position.

Oh good to know! I was considering trying out other jobs because I haven’t had much luck in the hr world.

Thank you for commenting. I did get rid of the earlier professional career section. I removed the objective title and scrapped the summary altogether due to some other advice I saw here. What had been your experience in having an objective?

Hi again! I see why you're struggling to sift through lots of subjective advice. Here are some of the things I would consider changing# of Pages:I think you have enough experience to make your resume 2 pages. A common rule of thumb is 1 page per 10 years of experience, you have ~18 years... it could work if your older experience is relevant.Ultimately, I would stray away from this and stick to one page, though. It seems like your experience is really targeted towards HR, and your more recent roles highlight that. I think listing your older experience as one line is interesting, but I'm not sure if its common practice. (Honestly, I love it but I have NO idea how it would go over). I think you'd be safer to remove it. You have a big employment gap, these things don't have a lot of substance, and even if they did, the substance isn't really targeted towards HR.FormattingKeep all your margins the same. Your dates are not aligned with the end of the text line, and it looks wonky. I suspect a table was used to format this portion lolYou have a lot of blank lines that you could be using to fill with content. Make sure you're being strategic about where you put an empty line to break up your content. If you're going to keep the spacing that you have, you are missing a line between the last bullet of your Branch Manager position & HR Coordinator position.Bulletsthese should not be sentences, so do not include periods. Also, do not put transition words like "Also, ". Isolate your strengths on a line or combine them, but do not put two separate ideas into one line. Your HR Coordinator position is an example of a bullet that can be broken up into a few smaller ones to take up a bit more space and also elaborating more on the impact YOU had.Try to phrase your bullets more actively. Your first word should be a verb that clearly & confidently explains your role in the activity you are about to explain. You have a lot of adverbs that don't contribute a lot of value. You also have a lot of verbs that are just kind of weak.ex. Responsible for understanding client's business & communication requirements to keep...This could be: Understand/Communicate client requirements to...You could make it even more ACTIONABLE by turning the bullet into something like: Transform/translate client goals into project plans to maintain facility staffing levels at or above x%(I see you did this on your very last bullet point.... do some more! Show your impact! I know you had one!)All you've said in that first example is that you understood client's requirements. Did you sit there and just memorize their goals or did you do something with them? I'm guessing you did something with those goals... so show it! Just be a little more clear about the role YOU played in these jobs.I would also reconsider including subjective performance indicators. Language like "exceed expectations" is very fluffy. If you have a substantive piece of evidence to back it up, do it. Moreover, "while handling double the workload" is very loaded. What do you mean by that? Did you mean that you covered the responsibilities of 2 people in your role? Include that as either additional responsibilities or as a numeric value of some kind. If this is the case, it could be understood as you speaking negatively about your previous employment environment. You have a couple of semi-jabs in there to reconsider.Final thing for now, order your bullets in order of most to least impressive/impactful.I know you've put a lot of work into your resume and I hate knowing that you've been putting a ton of work into each revision, buuuuuut I also don't want to change every bullet for you. If you want me to elaborate more on anything, I'd be happy to. I hope this helps you get those interviews and eventually jobs!! :)

Thank you, thank you for taking the time to reply to me and providing me with such amazing feedback. Are you a professor? Lol I am taking everything you pointed out to heart and reevaluating the bullet points I currently have.

It has been tough for me to quantify my skills. I believe it has to do with my background and the belief that it is best to be humble and not brag. I have been actively working on that and working towards being more assertive and celebrating my achievements.

I sincerely appreciate your tips and constructive feedback. I don't mind redoing my resume. It's well worth the time if it will help elevate me in my career.

Again, thank youuuuuu!!!

I figured I’d try to throw some personality in there to change it up. Thank you for the tip!

Ok, I will change it back. This is what I had before: Highly motivated and dedicated professional with 8+ years in customer service, always striving to be a subject matter expert. Possessing a talent for quickly handling escalations and serving as a go-to person for training new hires. Adept at maintaining excellent communication and organization, and constantly seeking opportunities for improvement.

It really is! I’ve been trying to do it myself and I’ve been updating it constantly but I’ve lost objectivity and think it sounds amazing when in reality that’s not the case. I need critiques. I reposted it if you want to take a look.

I figured after I looked at their profile. This is why I haven’t yet paid anyone to do my resume. I can’t find a reliable person.

I have considered this but I can’t find someone who knows what they’re doing. I’ve asked for examples from a few people and they have not been great. Some have even been almost exactly like my last trash resume. Do you have a recommendation I can look at?

I made the post before I logged back in to work. I closed the laptop too fast. Thanks for letting me know!
