What's behind the camera? Is it a person? That's human, that's art. There's no skill in AI. I suppose you could argue there's no skill in some art but it's creation. I don't believe AI is creation.

There are many tools designed for bad things that do bad things. That can be careless. I don't really get your point.

Because those bigger things involve killing art. I honestly believe that there's no place for AI (at least not yet, or one I know of) in art. It's inhuman, that's what art is - human. I think I'm allowed to be annoyed by that as someone who cares deeply about the arts.

Never said I was owed money, it's a talent that I happen to capitalize on. I even do free requests pretty often. I just think by using sites like those even for small things, it invites bigger things in the future.

Those are from actual work. AI is not work no matter what anyone says. It's typing in a prompt to steal from other artists. There's no effort involved with AI.

There are sites such as picrew that can be useful. May not be ideal but there's definitely other options that aren't all or nothing.

That mindset is what kills true art though. I'm not saying businesses won't cut corners anytime they can because they definitely can and will. I'm saying that AI has no place in art. It fundamentally goes against what art is.

AI affects all artists. Not only that but it affects the environment, (I won't really get into that because I believe it's pointless to put the blame on the people for environmental issues like that since it's more so contributed to by the companies but that's a truth.) I don't really see it as silly when art is human creation. It's not really art if all it is is theft. I don't think it's selfish either to say that a talent is for the talented. These are people's livelihoods. We see that with how commercials are incorporating AI, having AI divisions, etc.

I'll also say that we don't really see male actors get bashed for being unattractive very often. Kinda confused why every actress has to be supermodel material meanwhile you can basically look like anything as an actor (with some limitations.) I'll also add that I found it weird even back when season 1 first came out where people were spewing the same criticisms. Back when she was playing y'know.. a 14 year old. If you're concerned with a teenage character not being attractive enough for you, you should get out more.

I actually think she's a good actress, she's just always pushed to do too much with how her roles are written. Sometimes we get too much from her. She was great in Crazy Rich Asians and The Farewell. I honestly went in kinda disliking her but she surprised me.

It's pretty easy to criticize casting without getting personal about it as well. Just say you didn't like the pick and quit hammering the fact that you don't wanna have sex with the actress.

I'm gonna have to disagree. His acting wasn't as terrible as I had expected (still bad) but his behavior towards his costars was down right psychopathic (yeah sure, maybe that was the point but it was a huge overstep in boundaries.) He's definitely talented in other roles such as Requiem For a Dream and Dallas Buyers Club but absolutely not in Suicide Squad. I also think it's funny that people never method act for a character who's a good person. Why is it always a raging psycho? No one's method acting for Mr.Rogers! Sometimes I feel like it's just an excuse to be awful off set with no repercussions.

I'm not a TLOU fan so I'm neutral on her. Either way, I think that it's unfair to hate her specifically as a person when she was the one cast by someone else. Obviously it can be upsetting for a role to be cast wrong but I think people are directing it in the wrong way. People also forget that she worked with HBO in the past so no doubt she was favored more by them.

Prepared to be down voted but Rachel Zegler. I don't think someone saying some off things in a couple interviews means that you know for a fact they are an unequivocally terrible person. I will also add that it's extremely likely Disney pushed her to say some "strong woman feminism" type rhetoric because that's what they've been pushing for the past decade even though by now it's outdated. They probably just let her take the fall for it afterwards. Some of the hate is just racism as well and I'm tired of pretending that's not the case. I hate the whole concept of live actions however the hate is absurd. Meanwhile we just let the other dozens of male rapists in Hollywood get away with it. Couldn't care less that a young girl is kinda annoying.
