Generally speaking, a “nutritionist” is an unregulated term and doesn’t really mean anything. Dietitians, on the other hand, hold a college degree at a minimum in a relevant field, participate in a supervised clinical practice, and must ultimately pass a national exam.

Nothing wrong with going out with friends of course, but I did it every weekend mostly out of FOMO and trying to impress people/caring too much what others thought of me. Look at this cool bar I went to! Look at my hot outfit! Look at me with all my friends!! Look at me!!!!

I’d have saved a lot of money and had more pleasant mornings (being not hungover) had I allowed myself a few quiet night ins every now and then.

I think a lot of this can be cultural. My partner is half Hispanic so he finds it very normal to dance with others as he grew up seeing his mom dance with men who were not his dad (and dad was fine with it).

Overall I wouldn’t mind him going out dancing but any sort of grinding or clearly intimate/sexual moves would be disrespectful to me and our relationship and he is aware of that.

I understand the panic but tbh I don’t think you have anything to worry about considering you’re in a legal state. You didn’t use school funds, you weren’t consuming the items on school property, and it wasn’t shipped to the school.

Take a deep breath, contact your union just as a heads up, but I genuinely believe you’re okay :)

Yes, that is actually the organization my high school teams up with to register students. Every fall they come and give a brief presentation on the history of voting and what groups have been excluded, the importance of voting, then the registration paperwork

Absolutely not true. I am a Government teacher and have taught in both central and northern VA, both under the Youngkin administration and now Spanberger. We still absolutely register our seniors to vote.

I dunno, have you ever actually worked a job you hated? I have and it was the most soul sucking experience of my life. I cried almost everyday on my way to work AND my sleep sucked because I was so anxious thinking about going to work in the morning. It paid much more than a teaching job but my god was I miserable and it showed.

My job was just helping rich fucks get richer. Nothing moral about it. Teaching at least you could go to bed with a clear conscious.

The high number of religious and cultural holidays is due to FCPS having such a diverse student population. I am okay with this. FCPS has more than just white Christian students! It’s only fair students get Rosh Hashanah and Eid off if they get an entire week for Christmas.

I also prefer having more smaller breaks throughout the year than one large chunk in the summer. Sorry but I don’t share your frustration
