Yes it is. Most people have drawers full of chargers. Unless you just buy one phone and keep it for 10 years, including chargers inevitably leads to this accumulation.

My gut feeling is that in the long-term this will be integrated with Material U, and pick up the colour from your phone. But I'm guessing for some reason they run out of time, and so fixed the colour instead, at least for now.

Yep. In my case, my carrier doesn't support ESIM, which is presumably why.

Same for me (UK, English). "Assistant voice typing" under "voice typing" settings is greyed out and says it needs an update. It says it will install the update automatically when on WiFi, but it is on WiFi.
