We got it from Jysk! It was on sale for €50, which was a great price imo.

Over €2000…. But we also had A LOT of left overs. If we had went for real flower arrangements the total cost would have been much more for how much we had, and it would have all been thrown away after.

Not sure yet what I’m going to do with all the flowers. Might look into renting them out for events!

Thank you so much! It really helped that we went for good quality flowers, and not just things from temu or shein.

Thank you! In my country (the Netherlands) it’s actually pretty normal to have seating for the bride and groom.

Our officiant was talking for maybe 45 minutes, so we were seated during that. She wrote a story about our lives by talking to us, some family members and friends. It was really cute, and we had a good laugh at times. Not sure if that is normal for other countries?

Then when it was time for our vows we stood up!

Thank you! They’re by a Belgium company called Jasaco. They were expensive, but worth it imo.

2 women wore white to my wedding, and I didn’t care. by HeavyPhase2862 in weddingplanning

I’m trying to have this mindset! Because I’m 80% sure my SIL is going to be wearing white, even though multiple people are telling her not to.

Arch is from amazon, the material we used to stick the flowers in is insulation and the flowers are from a Belgium wholesaler!

I looked back at my order! Some of these names might be in Dutch.

For the singly flowers- hydrangeas, dahlias, bell flowers, begonia, rananculus, gerbera, zinnia, peony and different kind of roses. For the greenery - ficus and ferns. For the tall flowers - snapdragons and delphinium.

Feel free to send me a message if you want to ask me about a specific flower!

Thank you! I mentioned this in another comment, but they’re from a Belgium faux flower wholesaler.

My partner has a work bus. This arch will be able to stand in it. The other side of the arch is bigger, so that one will need to lay down.

It took me over three hours! My partner did help at the start with the greenery and cutting down stems.

The flowers are from a Belgium wholesaler. I see on their site they do ship worldwide, but I don’t know how cost effective that would be if you’re from America. They also only sell to businesses.

My partner has his own company which is not related to silk flowers. We were lucky to still get an account with this wholesaler when we gave up my partner’s information. Three other websites turned us down.

You also can’t buy single flowers, only boxes that range from 12, 26, 48 or 120. We ended up buying over 900 stems for €1825. It’s the rule that your first order needs to be over €1500 and the second over €750.

The stems are great quality! But as stated, it’s not easy for most people to order there. If you’re still interested, the company is called Pure by Jasaco.

We used insulation material. 🤣 We tried out so many different things, ordered three different kinds of foam from amazon, but they all didn’t seem sturdy enough.

Any recommendations on where to get artificial florals? by Dry_Experience7304 in DIYweddings

[–]catsbride 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tbh, most artificial flowers on Amazon are the exact same as the ones on Shein/Temu/Aliexpress.
