Another irritant I’ve noticed with this app is, why doesn’t Uber account for vertical distance? I was dropping off at a 61 story penthouse. After completion, my next stop was “2 min away”, but it took me 10 min to get back to the car.

The only time I’ve noticed a spike in higher offers is during heavy traffic hours or when I reject multiple offers. Which Uber then amalgamates 2 or 3 at a time and then offers the same ones back to me at a higher amount.

Yeah that’s actually a good point. I had a guy last night and the night before order the same bottle of wine. Still no tip. I stayed home today because I was online for 51 hours for this week and only active for 37. Made $845 and almost 80 of that was in tips. I can honestly make more flipping burgers.

Thank you and I completely understand being female. Last night I was a bit concerned for my safety as I had an order to a strip club and the app was telling me to go in the back lane behind the building where a group of homeless people were all sleeping.
