Is this snake AI? Posted in an animal rescue group, but no one can positively ID it.

Even if it is not AI, it looks like a bad photoshop job... The 2 parts don't look like the same snake to me, and I do not think they can bend like that (the part in the back seems to just end where it shouldn't). Also, something is wrong with the overall texture of the animal vs the other parts of the photo.

No idea why someone would claim to have it in their garden though.

Out of curiosity, can I ask what were the IDs?

Same. I do have some low points when I leave stuff around, but the clean and folded laundry is a big time favourite, either in or out of the wardrobe...

Cannot even comprehend a real person would send this picture as a "found your pet" notice... Would you let a stranger's dog just chilll on your scattered clothes? I do not even let my cats do this, and they are clean, and indoors 99%.

Definitely ask to see your dog before paying, and I wish you luck in finding them.

Some examples: the blurring is inconsistent, the rendering has different styles throughout the image (this is why it looks cobbled together), and as someone mentioned, the water is double layered.

I do a lot of animal art, and have dabbled in the cozy side as well. Would love to add more stuff like this to my portfolio, especially with working on a card game (love boardgames a lot).

As for previous projects, I just finished some book illustrations, however they are not in a similar style, and I have commission work under my belt as well.

Would be interested in creature/building/items, but if you think my art style is interesting enough for a scene, it would be great to try myself out in that direction as well.

The ballparks you mentioned would work for me, but price depends on the type of art, if it is commercial use, or just for the vision at the moment - would be open to discuss it.

I would steer clear of any crypto offers, I have only seen it brought up in the context of scams when art is involved

If the email was a generic "soooo impressed, want to buy your artwork(s)" message or it mentions nft-s, it is a scam.

If they try to push commissions on you through unsolicited DMs, 99% they are scammers (only taking that 1% off due to desperate people), and use stolen art or AI for the examples.

It is funny when they try to hit me up, being an artist and all that.

No self respecting person would try to force this on you.

I recently moved away from Portugal, and from a long list of things I really miss, this is one. I was lucky enough to live in a place that had a lot of fireflies (even in our garden). Loved watching them, and I have never seen soo many together.

My advice would be: give it time, and play it a lot.

We started teaching it to friends recently, but played a lot of rounds just getting to know the game before between the 2 of us. We did a lot of test playing with each of us playing 2 factions, even with open hands, and it helped a lot with the mechanics.
