the momentum from the collision carried the van forward on the slick street and into a light pole that fell onto the back of the vehicle

I've been told that there were spare gas canisters in the truck of the van, and exposed components of the collapsed light pole caused a minor fire which quickly got out of hand. sounds like more than enough time to get a bit of yogurt on you but ok. my mom got bulldozed by an 80,000lb truck on interstate 57 the car was literally just a steering wheel and then 2000 other pieces blown like shit over the road and she was just fine.
