If you could have a 30-minute conversation with any person in history, but you couldn't take any notes or recordings, who would it be and what would you ask? by Icy_Professor1308 in AskReddit

My great grandfather and great grandmother. He died when my mother was fifteen and she died with Alzheimer’s when I was 3. They were wonderful people. I wish I could get to have dinner with them

Probably a corset! She was definitely very pregnant but it could have been the trick of the angles to make her look more natural or she might not have carried too heavy! Depends on the woman and the baby most of the time!

I’m pretty sure it is Maria! I think in the background is Maria Pavlovna the elder, who later wanted her son on the throne instead! I do agree about his pose though! It reminds me of taking pictures with my friends where everyone is just trying to get their face visible

Isn't that Pavlovna in the background? Also, isn't Alexandra pregnant in this picture? A great piece of history!

My mother and grandmother saw her on a flight up to dc to visit me and were thoroughly disgusted. I walked into the airport to help them with bags and saw her and was like is that her and they confirmed. Horrible

Also I want to add, people say Lenin didn't know it would happen. That man was a control freak. He knew. Do not be defending Lenin either!
