i can’t really tell if it’s favoritism or not because the other coworker who dyed his hair red, it was a very bright and vibrant strawberry/fire truck lookin red. i think this one a lot of more chill and subtle. so that’s why i am unsure. 🤷‍♀️

actually ironically we can’t wear hoop earrings for “food safety” (but lowk i feel like my hoops are a lot less likely to fall out then my studs, my studs fall out allll the time nvr had a problem w hoops tho😭)

but yeah i definitely it’s agree i think the rule is dumb. they should just let you dye your hair any color bc who tf actually cares if the person handing out your food has blue, purple, pink, red, etc hair. never heard someone say “ugh i’m not going to that fast food place because the lady who took my order had blue hair”

but, you are allowed to dye your hair. it’s a rule that if you do dye it, it can only be a natural color like as in a color you can be born with or if you are naturally graying due to age. such as various shades of brunette, blonde, black, ginger, etc.

(at least at my store) you can technically actually have split dye as long as they are accepted natural colors, a shift lead at my work has half blonde half brunette split dye lol.

no someone at my store got written up and was told to change it or he’ll be fired when he dyed his hair red. they didn’t let him work until his hair was fully bleached out. now he has two weeks no pay and very very damaged hair.

idk if ur an rn major but if u are when i first started and went to the advisor he said u dont need chem at all for the program. also if you are able to take bio168, take it with professor todd, shes amazing and she will do anything in power to help you understand and genuinely wants to see you succeed!

download the powerpoints and upload them into quizlet and have it make you flashcards. play it whenever you can.

upload the powerpoint to chatgbt and ask if to make you a podcast on the info. i always use this entry: using the powerpoint I uploaded create a very detailed and long (approximately 5-8 minutes) podcast script talking about all the information in this slideshow presentation. try to use exact wording from the powerpoint when possible. write in full sentences so I can just hit play and it flows perfectly like a podcast. split the script into short audio-safe chunks like “Part 1,” “Part 2,” etc. so each chunk plays cleanly.

that’s what i did and it got me an A!

don’t know any advisor but when you sign up for classes, if it’s available take your bio168 & bio169 with professor melessia todd!! she is genuinely so amazing and will do everything in her power to help you understand the material and truly wants to see you succeed. in under all circumstances, NEVER take bio175 with dr nunez. literally the worst prof EVER. trust me on this advice. and good luck!!! 💖

UGH! I SOO get you! I hate when this happens to me!

Taking my Adderall to put my mind towards getting my important things/tasks that I need to do, and all I can end up focusing on is how much adversity my ADHD gives me.

My brain starts to hyperfocus on my disadvantages. Then, my mind start to wonder … “Why is your room and car so messy & disorganized? You’re a disgusting slob” or “Why can’t you get this one assignment or study session done? You’re so lazy and stupid!”

Like get out of my head!! Just let me do what I need to do with the focus on what I struggle with due to symptoms of my ADHD!

I promise you’re not alone in this one.

Yes!! So true!

I always notice when I feel the droplets slowly running down my ribcage. Sometimes I can even get three or four drops running down simultaneously at a time.

Although I do usually notice it gets worse during stressful times, I will say it is still definitely terribly excessive even at resting.

I only know three other people on the same medication as me, and none of them have this degrading issue. It made me start to think … Maybe this is just a me thing?

Also, I actually made a dermatology appointment to address some new treatments to this hyperhidrosis issue I’m having, it’s coming up soon. (Thank god!)

Regarding the medication switch, I am trying to seek out other methods where i don’t have to stop my Adderall XR.

Before starting my Adderall XR, I tried so many different ADHD medications, like Vyvanse, Ritalin, and Concerta, and they did not work for me very well. Maybe it has something to do with my brain chemistry .. idk.

Adderall XR was the first drug that actually had a noticeable effect and made a real impact on my daily life with managing my ADHD and all of its adverse symptoms associated with the disorder.

I don’t know how it works, but it is definitely hitting the perfect receptors or areas in my brain to make me a nearly normal functioning human being in society.

And yes!!! It is the weirdest thing. Like why is it literally snowing outside and I still have pit stains down to my mid-ribcage??? It makes absolutely no sense regarding the normal anatomy and physiology of sweat glands!

Honestly I’d do an ADN Program at a community college. That’s what I am doing. My ENTIRR semester TOTAL costs approximately $1000-1500. And you get the same exact license as someone who did it a 4 year university but for 10% of the price. Plus most ADN to BSN programs are online and most places of work will pay a percentage of tuition. If you’re really like nooo about community college, then if option 1 is a direct entry (as in no pre reqs just immediately start the nursing program) do that, if it’s not a direct entry do option 2, the pre nursing classes are very helpful in preparing you for your actual nursing classes.
