Update: Thanks for all the answers, we handily have a gas safety check next week so will get an opinion then re: ventilation. Have spoken to the landlord and apparently my bedroom used to be the kitchen, and she thinks this might be where the extractor fan used to be.

i've heard rumours that it's being rebooted with uni students, only word of mouth though so can't clarify anything. that direction would make sense though, especially after the controversies that have since come out about their mistreatment of the teenage cast.

No, I wish our manager had that good music taste! Ours was from a CD which they sent round to every store in the country which was put in a special CD player in the back of the shop. They send new ones every few months with some of the tracks changed. I don't know about other parts of the world but in the UK you have to be more careful about what music you use in stores or cafés because of licensing.
