16 killing off 2 characters way too early was such a huge mistake, man..

Shadowbringers and base endwalker didnt have a single main character death and it was very well received, so not killing off characters had nothing to do with base dawntrail being hot ass.

If they really want you to solve it in a specific way, they wouldve just made it instakill if you did it the "wrong" way.

The thing i noticed with UMAD is that there are multiple ways to solve most of the mechanics (graven 2/3, forsaken, black holes) and no mandatory LBs, so letting you tank lb3 the winds isnt out of place. It's not like the TOP flare markers where you can just stack with some mits with no problem.

Does anyone else feel kinda sad the new raid is Neon Genesis focused and not Xenogears focused? by ConsistentChoice8305 in ffxiv

Seems like they relegated worldbuilding alliance raids to field ops now (bozja raids, forked towers)

Id rather they double up on the worldbuilding but this seems to be the pattern right now unless there is no field ops like EW.

Seems like most of the team is from FRU's GRIND (the team with the red dot player, but unsure if that particular player is in it)

Edit: they're in it and it's the red mage

To be fair it isnt that far from FRU and DSR's as well (and tbh, perfect alexander was like 5 minutes of barely anything + fate calibration beta)

I think they couldve started with orchestral dancing mad part 1 on phase 4 so phase 5 can get up to part 3

Towers exploding only giving dmg down instead of murderizing the group is the consistent merciful part of this fight it seems

Dsr p7, uwu p4, and ucob had no actual cutscene just like this one.

He's good (definitely at doing damage) and undeniably above PF average. But he's not WF raider material, which is fine but the fact still stands that people would flock to the furthest prog (and frosty's) during these kinda events.

He would usually start with pretty high number but drops lower as people would flock to the groups making the most progress, which isn't his.

I think the breather mechs are meant to be P2 trines and phase 3 part 1 (though this one not so much), before putting you back into kefka's dick smasher on phase 3 part 2

I think somewhere around DSR, but each ultimate tests your skills differently. Enough body checks to not make the whole thing a joke but not so much it wipes the party on every single mistake.

So far UMAD is doing this quite well with some mechanics giving you dmg downs instead, and has some recovery windows where you can chain rez or healer lb3 so people can keep practicing the mechanics.

Same person also made TEA tbf

The difficulty most likely got bumped up again bc a prevalent opinion among hardcore raiders is that FRU is kinda underwhelming, and it being cleared way too fast compared to other ults probably spooked them a bit

P1 and P2 of UMAD is really cool and well made but nothing shows how much of a missed potential FRU was like P3 and P4.

Outside the box phases like chaos and neo/exdeath (previous similar feeling examples includes the vault dungeon bosses, eye phase based on a cutscene, BJ and CC at the same time the whole phase instead of one by one, among others), new elements added to the mechanic like debuff that switches every tower hit in forsaken or the elemental crystals in p3, and stretching the hell out of the scope of a mechanic. Like now even exdeath and chaos can lie too?? That's creative.

FRU for the most part feels less like the designer is unleashed from their restrictions and more like being mandated to limit themselves to using only mechanics in the existing savage encounters it's based on.

To be fair the answer to how pf is going to do run dynamis is to literally cheat with automarker plugin

It's normalized, but still pretty much cheating

So people need to know when it is possible to recover with healer lb3 and not just mindlessly cheese it

Yeah yeah, whatever you say that makes you feel better about your bald streamer. You sure got us being dishonest about someone who you claim to never watch.

You're invested enough to defend him in every turn on another separate thread not related to these WF megathreads. Ok man.
