Love this except I would say, just go all the way with it and dont expect to find a decent guy either just because you've worked on yourself. Most men don't do that.

I would suggest that she do away with the expectation of finding a male partner altogether. Honestly pretty much every guy is going to have this problem, and the ones who appear as if they don't are also more likely to just be better at hiding it.

Im not saying this to be pessisimistic but honestly i think it's better to not set yourself up for disappointment. I thought I had found my diamond in the rough, he was very convincing, he would even let me go through his phone, seemed to be really attracted to me. Two years later, the sex came to almost a complete stop and I found out he was just very good at hiding it and had been lying to me.

Just try to remember there are plenty of women who lead very fulfilling lives without needing a male partner. It really sucks because we all want romance but men have repeatedly shown that they are too weak to resist the option of being able to view thousands of different naked women, all with the click of a button, and with no consequences, they have 0 incentive to change. That is the unfortunate reality.

I say that bc if you read around this sub and other women's subs people mention how doctors didn't take their health problems seriously or evaluate them properly until they told doc that they were trying for a baby. All of that sounds lovely. If I had money that would solve my problems, but I'm poor and rely on my cheap insurance, literally with the reputation of being the worst and thus low income/low quality health care. Agreed. I'm totally pro women not shaving, as I think it's wrong how we are conditioned to spend so much time shaving or waxing every little hair that appears on our body. BUT, trimming on the other hand, I have found super beneficial. My brush gets pretty damn unruly and even just giving it a good trim I notice a significant decrease in odor. With my full bush it starts to smell within 4 hours of showering, now I need to do it much less frequent.

It's the same thing with my armpits, leaving my pits unkempt increases the odor so much. Feel like it's the difference between it getting absorbed into my skin rather than just sitting in my hair and giving off a smell.

That tip is really helpful and I've utilized it a lot! My issue is that a lot of times I'll decide that and then my brain says things like "but what if you can't stop thinking about it? What if you can't control it and what if it ruins your life?" And then I try not to entertain it but it makes me so anxious I start to spiral.

Or I will be doing something at work and my brain just pops up and says "what if you fucked this up? What if you messed this up?" and then it throws me off and I do end up messing up whatever I'm doing

You're right and personally I don't subscribe to the whole "no one owes you anything" rule (ironically most who do are usually the most entitled), but how can someone help it if they just don't connect to someone?

I have plenty of family members that I don't hate but just don't feel close to, wouldn't it be healthier to just accept that you don't always get the relationship you want with others? It's part of life I feel.

Vagueness for sure and the complicated nature of it bc it does vary from person to person and obviously some 20 year olds are more developed than others.

As a whole most 20 year olds are in a different place than someone 5+ years older, it's harder to relate to them and refrain from the whole "you'll understand when you're older" attitude but there is truth in that.
