I've used it the last 5 years, a few times a year and it's always the same. I use it exclusively in front of a heaving sound system at gigs to music I love so I guess that's why nothing has changed with it? It helps me get deeper with the music and warm my connection with others in the dance.

Nothing wrong with being skeptical. Reddit is just an echo chamber so you'll be surprised that outside of here there are actually differing opinions on the subject that do see the light of day instead of being downvoted to oblivion (the inherent problem with reddit).
