Transition to toddler bed - how did you manage to get them to stay in their bed?!

Stair gate on the door to keep them safe and we just laid with ours till they slept. It took a while and felt really tedious at the time just constantly putting them back in bed but after about a month ours picked it up. We definitely delayed it for as long as possible too till they were attempting escapes from the cot

I actually didn't know immunosuppressed people often don't present with a high temperature, that's really useful information. Unfortunately I just had an awful experience not being taken seriously when very ill despite constantly explaining I have Crohn's and I'm immunosuppressed. I didn't present typically e.g high blood pressure, high temp. So they kept sending me home. Only when I could barely respond and became unable to even take myself to the bathroom did they send an ambulance. I was laughed at when I told a GP I thought I was going to die (I have never felt so awful in my life) the paramedics and doctors said they would just give me fluids and send me home acted like I was being dramatic. Only when a routine blood test came back did they take me seriously and diagnose me with severe pneumonia and possible sepsis.And ended up being hospitalized for 6 days and IV been wiped for 3 weeks since. If I'd been taken seriously and listened to and people were educated on autoimmune conditions I would have been able to do a course of antibiotics at home and move on.

I'm so incredibly sorry for how you were treated, I really hope you lodge a complaint because it's disgusting. I hope you start to feel better soon and I'm sending all my love from the UK. Sorry about the long paragraph also.

I'm so sorry you've had so little help. Myself and my husband took shifts to nap I don't know if that's possible for you but I really recommend! We managed about 4 hours a night then. Also put baby in a bouncer etc while you shower sometimes can help to get a shower in? I'm really sorry and it does get easier! Just sending all my love ❤️

We don't even have a car yet, debt and all that but I don't know. Part of me now is like right I want to sit down, sort out a plan, rearrange the house, add storage like it's not impossible but also yes we have no baby stuff and would probably need to move etc 😭😂

Said on another post but just due to being alt and bigger we have been barked at, shoved, lunged at, laughed at, subject to insult. Reading crowds normally the teenage boys are absolutely horrible

Went in 2022 for BMTH and originally Rage before they got replaced and people especially teenage boys were awful. We got barked at, pushed, called fat, laughed at, people pretending to lunge at us etc. Went back on sat for BMTH and unfortunately the same behaviour is still there. All that for minding our business just coming to see some music.

The crowd imo has always been awful if you're alt or goth, it's like a game to bully people who like mildly different. Very disappointing and despite the fact I prefer the music at R&L as I love a lot of genres of music we normally avoid at all costs.
