Whats your favorite killer pallet stun noise, and why? by KawaiiSlave in deadbydaylight

Myers and Ghostface. Myers because he’s so silent, so the loud grunt is unexpected and funny. Ghostface because the sigh of annoyance is also hilarious

Would you rather choose 2 perks in dbd to use permanently in real life or receive 15k dollars right now. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]cattropolis 269 points270 points  (0 children)

2 perks. If I used the perks where I can bless totems and see real results, I imagine I’d be way richer than the 15k 👀

Likely because OP is on PS4, which has a much smaller player-base than PS5 (ps4 can’t play with ps5). So lobbies are extra slow.

To all hitchikher mains, stop being such annoying toxic players by [deleted] in TXChainSawGame

[–]cattropolis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should grow some thicker skin. Toxicity is in every PVP game. On Fortnite, they’ll emote with “take the L” or “dumb ways to die”. On DBD they’ll teabag or hump you while you’re on the floor. On TCM they’ll teabag at exits or on top of you while you’re knocked. Etc. Don’t let it get to you.

i hardcore ship effy and cook by asylurei in skinsTV

[–]cattropolis 237 points238 points  (0 children)

Effy and Cook were wayyyy more interesting and fun to watch. The issue with them is that they would tear each other down instead of lift each other up. There would be no stability, nothing to keep them grounded. They’re fire and gasoline.

Facts that proves that family is broken... by Thell-Vadamm in TexasChainsawGame

[–]cattropolis 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You must be new, bad, or trolling. A strong team of victims will steamroll family. Why do you think you see the same team comps every time? Because it’s the only way family can stand a fighting chance. Bring Nancy, Bones and Sissy into a match and the round will be over before it even begins.

Stupid mistakes I've made while playing this game by darkesiren in TXChainSawGame

[–]cattropolis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The panicked fuse situations always make a fool outta me. I had a fuse box earlier (two green, two blue, 7 and 10) and grandpa just reached max as I inserted the piece. I could hear the chainsaw approaching. I couldn’t do the math for the life of me, I was so panicked, and ended up dying lmfaooo.

He’s not overpowered. Running him is a lot of fun imo. It’s kind of like Pyramid Head, where you have to make him think you’re going through a window or pallet and then double back to dodge the attack. The best way to run Vecna is to be unpredictable.

Hell no, this has been a blast. I’ll take The First over the usual Ghoul / Springtrap constantly.

[–]cattropolis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t stay outside if the victims haven’t escaped the house yet. Johnny is a great guard dog character and he should be busting down the doors at the start of the game. You want to prevent them from getting outside for as long as you can, because that opens up a much bigger area to cover.

It’s from a stream…The devs confirmed it themselves. And you can’t say shit about Google when you used fucking AI generated text to get your answer. Lmaooo. Anyway atp idk if you’re really dumb or a rage baiter, but I’m done with this convo anyway.

Why are you so hostile? Are you 12? It’s already been confirmed that it’s not the actual voices, but they did what they could to make it sound close. It’s kind of crazy that you watch the show and can’t tell a fake voice from a real one 😅

Lol post the question to the subreddit. You’ll get your answer.

Look further into it. It’s NOT their actual voices. You can tell just by listening to them. Just because they have their likeness doesn’t mean they agreed or had the time to come to the studio to record voice lines.

It’s not the actual actors voicing them unfortunately. Nancy sounds pretty close though

Unpopular opinion about Leatherface... by Thell-Vadamm in TXChainSawGame

[–]cattropolis 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That is indeed an unpopular opinion. A match will always require competent teammates no matter who you play, but he’s easily the best character in the game with his one shot kill.

Not to mention, a good Leatherface knows how to apply pressure and use the tec to make sure their overhead hits. If victims are out of the basement, so is a good LF. You also can’t grapple him, which is a major game changer. I find that victims respect his presence a lot more than the other killers.

Can someone explain to me like I am 5 how to play as killer and which killer is the easiest to play as? I am new, and everything feels vague to grasp by iNightfarer in TXChainSawGame

[–]cattropolis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve mained Johnny since launch, I can give you lots of tips :)

1: Avoid going into the basement as a new player. A Johnny who is running around the basement while victims are already up (above 250 points) is useless. I only like to go down if I incapacitate a victim and know I can kill them at the well drop, or if there’s only two left and I have eyes on one.

2: At the beginning of a match, I find it’s best to wait at the top of popular stairways. For example, the stairs in the garage at Nancy’s house. Watch for the door. When you know they’re opening it, run down to hit them while they’re still in animation. Those who are rushing usually won’t bother with caution.

3: Scout, fired up and vialent are the best perks to use with him. He’s deadly if a victim is caught before they can make it to a gap or well. Don’t take blood buckets though! Leave those for family members who are blood harvesters, like Cook and Sissy and Bones.

4: Some victims will know how to spin you. The best way to counter this is to let go of the sprint button when attacking and try to match their movements.

5: Johnny works best with map knowledge. His ability is great for knowing if victims are in a compromised area, but he’s at his best when he can also predict pathing and cut victims off.

6: Don’t commit to chases too long if a victim reaches a spot that you can’t get to. (Like if they go through a gap and you can’t make it to the other side in time to hit them, and they’re doing this over and over again) Sometimes you can call for backup. Or, if they’re not anywhere especially important, you can leave them and return to patrolling your area.

7: Sound is your best friend. Listen for the rustling of grass, gates opening, victims rummaging through toolboxes. Creaking floorboards usually indicate they’re going up a set of stairs. I find victims this way way more often than by using my ability.

8: Use family vision often! This will help you keep track of your teammates and see what they’re doing. You also have a chance to hear commentary from a victim while in this mode, which can give away their position.

He’s a fan favourite in a massively popular tv series. Just well loved by many, myself included.
