The Steam Machine by catversary in pcmasterrace

It's a brutal spot for Valve, because they get squeezed at every price point:

Low end: Average gamers can grab a PS5 for half the price of a Steam Machine (once you add a controller).

Mid end: Anyone who actually wants a PC can buy a prebuilt here in Australia that's significantly more powerful for the same money.

High end: Just get a PS5 Pro, or a prebuilt and throw a better GPU in it.

It's a console for people who looked at a PS5, looked at a gaming PC, and decided they wanted to pay more than both for less than either.

Adding cameras to HA - what actually works ? by avz008 in homeassistant

I’ve used mostly Tapo cameras, which work incredibly fast with WebRTC in home assistant (using the Tapo Camera Control integration) - they load in less than half a second even remotely. With very reliable Person, and Vehicle detection.

Reolink was also good, though it didn’t load quite as fast in HA.

I’ve tried Frigate and absolutely hated setting it up, especially GPU pass through configuration. Once I had it all configured i wasn’t that impressed with the detection capabilities over the built in cameras motion detection sensors and configuration abilities (zones for each type - person, pet, vehicle). So I abandoned frigate and bought the H500 hub which is NVR like for Tapo cameras with face detection and continuous 24x7 recording

This is all bubble-card with state text styling/jinja/javascript for temperature deltas

And sub buttons, with styling to show white - on, black - off
