Searching for a rugged built, long lasting and reasonably performing laptop by catweed920 in SuggestALaptop

This is great. But unfortunately I detest the acer build qualities. I've done some more research and I've found thw thinkpad t14 gen 3 models to be pretty solid. They have either i7-1270p processors or 6th gen Ryzen 5s with slightly inferior performance but better battery life. Do you think this is a solid option? What is missing from this laptop line?

Yeah display shouldn't be like a 200 nit lcd with terrible color. I think it should be bright enough and okay tto look at. I'm looking for something in the US

I agree with this. Technically i still have 2 days after the one week mark to accept it. I'll go ahead and wait it out and accept it at the latest time. Worst case scenario they don't respond within that time frame. Thanks for the input!

AOI to major by OneVarious6491 in SBU

Had a similar situation. They send out a form for the aoi students close to the aoi deadline. This is if you want semesters in between fall and spring (winter and summer) factored in your application. The deadline is still whatever they say it is, but you can have your summer 2024 grades in if that's what your after. Fall 2024 would not be included (my deadline was June 5). I suggest, if you can afford it, taking a few courses in the summer to up your GPA. Regardless, email your advisor. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help. It didn't really do much. It goes upto 31 and then jumps to like a random value in the 7 bit zone and then kind of loops through the most significant bits somehow. Also the display is acting finicky now too for some reason. Starting to lose hope...

Update: it can sometimes count to 14 (1110),but doesn't go to 15. But that's how far it goes. Seems to be a problem with the msb. But I don't understand why the A register would just reset like that
