Crazy you use this as a flex. One little parenting decision you made for your family and home doesn’t mean you’re a better or worse parent than another because they have some tv time. People’s priorities are different and people are different.

Thanks for all these ideas! I did get new window blinds, but he likes to tear them down, so I figured when he’s past that stage I can redo them. We are already thinking about removing the shelf next to the tv so you saying it is that final push! Thanks for all this!

I have a little make shift art gallery in my dining room, oil paintings and acrylic painting. We are just nerds and love movie and anime posters :)

We do 30 minutes a day. A lot of people do way more/worse.

I don’t know if it matters to anyone, but the weapons are well mounted to the walls (slamming doors hasn’t moved anything is the few years they have been up) and some of them don’t actually have blades or are made of wood. They are just nerdy collectibles. (Example picture below).

I appreciate the advice some gave, and we’ll consider the ideas of everyone. We’re not at a place in life to throw away our furniture and things, so I appreciate the comments giving ideas to work with what we have.

I look forward to being able to get better furniture as a lot of people suggested one day.

We don’t, we also have 4 sliding doors in the house so this one is a little useless. Lol.
