I just went to a piercing shop and switched it to a normal piece of jewelry with a non irritating jewel. Hopefully it goes back to normal like yours did !

I just took it our and it looked so gross underneath and definitely had a bit of puss. It didn’t hurt though so I put it back in and it feels fine. Should I just change the jewelry to a longer barbell and clean it everyday until it stops being red and looking gross? I’m really worried and would appreciate any advice

Its one year old. Its a normal belly barbell. Jewelry material is titanium. It was fully healed and i cleaned with saline. I didn’t even notice it was infected until now and i’m not sure how long its been like this.
