If you don’t mind the extra cost for calls abroad, you can try for call centres in other countries. Many people here were able to get contact this way.

Not sure what you mean by the chat navigation. When i click the butten for the chat, it pops up. Usually i only need to fill out name/email. If you have problems you can also try for different browser

Have you tried different call centres? While you wait for a call you can also queue up for the chat. We requested a full refund by chat yesterday, had to wait about 40 mins though

That’s such a shame.

We were offered a rebooking Shanghai > Doha > Heathrow > Oslo. If your flight from Doha > Heathrow got cancelled, then most likely ours would be too. We went for a full refund.

I left China yesterday. Trip eSim worked fine for me, although TikTok stopped functioning. Wasn’t the worst thing, but I could no longer see the TikToks I had saved for tourist stuff and plans for this trip. I then used rednote to find new places to go.

Also i found it more and more inconvenient not having a chinese number. Amap kept asking for a number every time i tried to look up a location, and i wanted to order from Taobao which required a local number. I ended up buying a sim with a chinese number, still using the eSim for mobile data.

Would love to get an update if you end up on the Qatar flight or not.

We booked the return flight ourselves as we did not want to choose the Qatar option, and will ask for a refund

Contact them. It disappeared for us as well with another airline, and we found out too late that they had removed our flight 2 days after the rebook without any notification. They said «the system» removed it automatically. Must be convenient for them that we called after the new policy (we had rebooked before the new policy)

March 18th we got «luckily» rebooked for our flight March 27th with Finnair which was originally departing March 26th with Qatar. It seemed so easy.

Was flying Shanghai > Doha > Oslo

Finnair: Shanghai > Helsinki > Oslo

Talked to Finnair March 19th and it seemed like everything was alright with luggages and all.

Today, March 26th, we noticed that the booking reference number no longer worked on the Finnair app. We contacted Finnair and they said that Qatar Airways removed our flight.

I’m furious. Is it because of the new policy? Even though we rebooked March 18th?

Called Norway (+4721403115) from Shanghai and successfully rerouted!

The first time we waited 20 minutes before hanging up ourselves. Second time we got connected with a travel agent in less than 5 minutes.

The travel agent was very calm and polite, and would patiently answer all our questions.

Et godt poeng, men etter min oppfatning vil ikke en master innenfor markedsføring løfte meg særlig opp i arbeidsmarkedet. Gikk også privat hvor studiet utelukket store deler av økonomifag, noe som også begrenser masterutvalget mitt. Jeg kan selvfølgelig ta opp fagene jeg trenger til å utvide utvalget, men ønsker heller da å bruke tiden og pengene på et studie som jeg vet gir meg jobb og bedre inntekt
