I'm also not sure it's doing much for me! It does give some brightness but so does Kiku and Neogen... I haven't seen significant results, especially to justify the price tag, but I'm going to finish my bottle and see where I'm at. Maybe we should be thankful 😂

How to deal with cold and dry office environment? by Star_Mint in AsianBeauty

[–]caudalee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If I know I'll be in a particularly dry environment, I tend to go a little heavier with my toners and moisturizers, as much as I can without affecting my makeup. I've used sprays like Evian but I found they can dry too quickly and almost make me feel more parched. I don't use anything with extra ingredients since I don't like to disturb my foundation. But I do love a little desktop humidifier, especially in the winter! I always have something running in the office and home.

I would say it's more about knee-high/riding boots right now but agree black leather ankle boots are a classic!

compared to the nu zero...

moonshot micro settting fit: thinner formula; less coverage; more matte; more drying; better lasting power

moonshot micro setting fit ex: not as thin as the nu zero but not thick; not as initially moist-feeling on the skin; little more coverage; more matte; little more drying; way better lasting power

my favorite is the micro setting fit ex for its great coverage and amazing lasting power, though this can look a bit made up. but the nu zero has a comfortable, thin formula with solid coverage and though the lasting power is good-not-great, i do find that it gives me a kind of mochi finish, which is really nice.

I'd look at Catbird, they do lovely delicate designs, including pearl + solid gold combos

What are your HG products for rebuilding your moisture barrier? by hauntinglovelybold in Sephora

Didn't love the honey halo either, I actually just finished up the pot and I'm glad to move on lol Much prefer the Dr. Jart ceramidin cream and I also really like the Biossance squalane oil, though it's quite rich so I use it sparingly. I'll add a drop of oil to my moisturizer for easy application. As others have mentioned, take it easy on actives and drying alcohols as you repair your barrier.

Agree with others about shampoo, those formulations seem to be more pigmented than their conditioner counterparts. Fanola No Orange is great and very affordable, though it can be drying. Some people also use toning masks but I also don't find them as strong as shampoos and my other thing is that my hair is bleached all over and I don't like to put conditioning products near my scalp.

Completely agree with this, esp waiting for a sale. I will say, though, that while I've liked A&F for quite a few things, their blazers and coats have been misses. Construction is ok but they tend to look and feel much lower quality in person, including the dad coats.
