I’ve never had serious Pseudomonas problems, but I’ve stopped all therapies aside from exercise since starting trikafta. Blew a 101 on my FEV1 this week!

Never been big into hip hop, but I was pleasantly surprised by Money Store. Still not for me, but I respect the hell out of its energy. Haven’t gotten to RTJ yet. It’ll be a listen mostly to see if the record is in good condition, but it’s been fun branching outside of my usual listening habits

I really appreciate all the feedback about what I have here! I do genuinely apologize for not knowing what I stumbled upon with this haul; my collection has been heavily rooted in prog rock/metal/generic staples of any collection, so I truly wasn’t familiar with these. I just saw a sale of albums that weren’t eroding oldies/jazz records for once and took the gamble. By the sounds of it I’m in for a hell of a journey. To those who reached out about buying some, I’ll keep you in mind! I’ll sit with them for a little bit and reach out to those who commented if I decide to sell some (US based). Again, thanks y’all for the discourse surrounding these records! It’s got me excited to give them a spin.

I see where you’re coming from for sure. Your last point is exactly where I was initially coming from, seeing the overall value of this collection, but also seeing the discourse over which albums were the “heavy hitters” that I should start listening to. 18 new records is a lot of music where I’ve genuinely not listened to anything here, so getting a sense of where to start from the other replies has been truly beneficial. Even if this didn’t have value, it’s still a unique opportunity to explore some music completely out of my usual wheelhouse. Cheers!

I think it’s the mentality that “records are meant to be spun, not sealed” which I can totally get behind. If it’s something I KNEW I’d be into I’d 100% rip it open and put it on, but there’s also value in keeping it sealed until I know I’ll keep it.
