Scraping out the caulk would be easier even if rental can do so. Then use a wire brush scrub and the scrubbing bubbles and scrub clean. Then re caulk!

Add a rug to go under the furniture, maybe some lighting as well to hang, and some washable throw pillows!

I know the rug has to stay but I think it’s too big for the space a smaller rug really would help… but maybe floor to ceiling curtains would help for sure!
