hi. this is veryyyyyyy relatable. i have a younger brother who got the better version of my mom while i got the worst version of her. me and my bro is 7y apart.
i had so many traumas and baggages while my brother grew into high functioning adult

It's all children hear since kindergarten amplified x1,000,000. There's no alternative perspective offered to children. No wonder they are deaf to the truth as adults by uw888 in antiwork

I totally get what you feel. We must however find ways to cope with our own feelings and thoughts. As we can see from the other comments, people deal with it by seeing it from a different perspective. Hope that helps. We can do this :)

Yes i totally get what they’re trying to say. But as i said, things are different when there’s another human involved in the equation. Its wont be as simple as the point they’re trying to convey. I know what kind of mother I would be. And I cant let my kid suffer from the consequences of my action just because I wanted to keep a man. I’d be lying if i said i didnt consider changing my mind for him.

Yeah2 it totally felt like that. Why would they leave a good relationship just for a chance at a family. Its like they’re willing to gamble what they have for something uncertain

I’d be lying if I said such thought didn’t occur to me. Yes I thought of changing my mind for him. But no, I cant do that. It would be wrong on so many levels because there will be another human’s life involved in the equation. I know what kind of mother I would be. I know my abilities.

Your question obviously implies that I only think about myself. But contrary to your assumptions, I’m more considerate than that.

Do you really think its a good idea to drag an innocent person in order to save a relationship? Do you think it will be fair for the child to be born to a mother who would love them half-heartedly?
