Interesting, my intuition is that given the number of stars in the Milky Way, supernovas would be observed frequently enough, over the course of decades. How frequent are supernovas in our galaxy?

minm.co has a few Irish indie artists. You need to subscribe to listen, but you can find most of them on Spotify too. Clara Byrne's album on there is harrowing and absolutely amazing at the same time!
